Hello Mr. King You have always had a place in my heart. You inspired me to write these lyrics about communication between a man and a woman. What do you think? LISTEN CHORUS ( Oh why can't I hear the words that are comming out of your mouth) I'm listening to you, But I don't know what you are saying What I heard, Is not what you are relaying Idon't understand, I just don't know why I can't hear what you say, No matter how hard I try CHORUS ( Oh why can't I hear the words that are comming out of your mouth) I want to hear you so bad that it hurts, You try to explain but it just gets worse How can you hear what I wasn't saying, Why can't you hear what I am relaying Understanding is futile it just isn't there, When the words leave my lips they change in the air They mean something different when they reach your ear, Confused by the meaning will it ever be clear CHORUS ( Oh why can't you hear the words that are comming out of my mouth)
Tks for the video, and I hope to see you in Brazil next year. Well, I read at the newspaper it´ll be possible. We´ve a date. lol. Best wishes.
You have made blues big, you have made the blues community big, you are the one that's given blues the justification to exist. The genre would have never gotten the recognition and respect it has today and it's image is irreversibly influenced by you. http://www.virtual-desktop-stripper.com is going to profit of that success. I hope the legend will live on forever just to make sure the world is going to profit without an end of it.

Mr. King, I respectfully ask you a favor. I have been to six of your concerts and have been a fan of yours since I was 19...I am 55 now. I am a luthier and a guitar repairman and have many guitars. I have a black Epiphone regent that I would love to have signed by you. I will be in attendance at your Grand Rapids, Michigan concert on October 11th...My 7th BB King concert!!! I am only a few rows back from the stage and would be forever grateful to have my guitar signed by you. I just don't know if this is possible and what the procedure would be! I would like to be advised on how to do this or if it is at all possible. Thank you for being BB. Jon J. ERickson jonjericks@hotmail.com

Dear Sir I am reminded of the scripture that says a man's gift will make room for him, and bring him in the company of great men. Sir, I thank God for your amazing gift. Lucille has helped us say those things that words could not. I love you. Lisa Bridges
Hello B.B. King, My husband and I saw you in concert this past year in Casper, WY. You were absolutely wonderful. We talk about your concert all the time. We both agreed that your concert was by far the best concert that we have ever been at. Actually, at the end of your concert your saxophone player gave me a guitar pick. My husband carried that in his pocket all the time. He was so happy that I received one of your picks. But since then he lost it while we were on vacation in South Dakota. It fell out of his pocket and he never found it. I was wondering if I could possibly get a new pick from you. I will pay whatever it is to get one from you. He was very bummed that he lost it and would be thrilled to have another one. So it's worth whatever amount to get one from the infamous B.B. King. Thanks so much for a wonderful concert. Thanks, Sherri

Sir, this morning in a London hotel at the check out desk you gave me a pick that you dropped. I was just sorry that I didn't think quick enough to realise it was you. I saw you in New Zealand over 20 years ago and it was the first concert I had ever been to. I loved it and you were sensational. Ever since I have had an huge love of music of all kinds and as I have have termainal cancer music been a great source of joy to me. I just wanted to say thank you for the pick and thank you for giving me such pleasure over the years.

Mr. King your show was amazing last night at the Lyric! It was the most fun I've ever had at a concert and definitely the most lively show the lyric has ever had I'm sure. You're an inspiration to all us young lovers to keep kickin it as long as you can. Never give up! Don't retire, we need your music now more than ever! But you can rest assured - your request will be fullfilled, we will surely keep your grave clean and honor your life and music forever more importantly! We love you! Thank you! Sara
I'm gonna see you again on April the 7th!!! You have done so much for music and for me. I'm a diabetic too. Your an inspiration to me to keep moving forward and not let this obstacle stand in my way. The last time I seen you perform was Crossroads guitar fest in Dallas. You kept saying can I get one more song. You can get as many songs as you like. Thats fine by me! I know your a busy man. But I would find it an honor to get to meet you. Would that be in any way possible? Thanks for everything. Chuck
Mr. King, thank you for everything you've given to not only the blues, but to music of all kinds. History will have next to Elvis, The Beatles, U2 as the most influencial musicians of all time. Thank you for everything you've given to music.
I'm gonna assume you DO read these, though God knows how you'd find the time. Well, first of all, it may not be polite to say like this, but please don't die on me ( us ) anytime soon, if you can help it, "old man". That'd be the best favour. I'd like you to know that your music has given me, like many others, great joy and comfort over the years. I can even say that it helped me stay alive a few times, thank you. I've been listening to your music for almost 30 years I guess. So although I am a complete stranger to you,I feel that you are family to me, and I love you sincerely, though I can't say that I know you. I did meet you once many years ago,and shake your hand at a club venue on the Gold Coast, in Australia. You were very gracious and spoke so softly, and politely. It made a deep impression on me. I realise that it is very improbable, but if you could find the time, I sure would like to see you again. I would never ask you for something that would make you doubt my sincerity, in case you wondered about it. I assume you would be too busy, so I don't expect to see you. If you felt like visiting Toyama in Japan, where I live now, I'd be glad to see you again. You'd be welcome to stay at our humble house, though that'd be even more unlikely, I know. I'll finish with an even more unlikely favour, which I also don't expect of course. Among the several famous people you do or may know, and I also love, especially I'd be forever grateful if you told that lovely little 'hummingbird', Helen F.S.A. from England that I love her very much. Even though that may seem crazy it has been painfully true for some 30 years or so. I'd dearly like to see her one day while we live. I understand this is also unlikely. While I'm at it, Love to Gordan S, Tracy C,Eric C, Annie L, Van M, Joe C, "Red" Mick, Little Stevie, "Auntie" Aretha, Wynton and Branford, Grover, Wo&Wo,Cyndi L, Bono ( love the shades bro..) Lenny K, Seal,John H,( nice karate suit dude..lol) Alicia K, and "the Peppers".All of you 'strangers' mean a lot to me,though it may not mean much to you,at least I said it, here, and I mean it, for what ever its worth or not. Well, as crazy as this entry may seem, I just had to say that I love you Riley, I really do. Its weighed on my mind lately that I may never get the chance to say, so I said it here, because I couldn't think of another way, sorry about that. Sorry also to those others who read this and may be annoyed or offended, please forgive the intrusion. Anyway, I hope you have many more healthy days with joy and peace. If there ever is any kind favour I could do for you, small or large though none comes to mind that you'd need, I'd be glad and grateful to do it if I am able. Thank you Riley King, be well, and call on me if you should ever need someone. Love,Scott .
I went to see BB perform in The House of Blues in Anaheim CA in December. I don't know if anyone else has been to see him or if his sets stay the same but there was one song that he played which brought tears to my eyes and I can't for the life of me remember the name of it. All I remember was that he dedicated it to all the lovers out there and it was beautiful. If anybody knows what song this was I'd be grateful if you could post up or let me know as I've been desperately trying to find out since then. Mr King, if your reading this you really tugged on my heart strings and I've never appreciate blues more than I did in that moment. Thank you.
You need to comeback to Vancouver BC or my girlfriend will kill me. I had tickets to take her the last time you were here but I kind of screwed up and we didn't make it. My life has been in danger ever since.

I don't know if you read these BB, but at your Reno show you made a point to turn around and give a Guitar Pick to my son who was on my shoulders. That meant so much to me. Your music has been with through the best and the worst times, it has always spoken to my heart. I emulate you on guitar, as much as I can, and have learned and continue to learn musical lessons from you. You are the hardest working man in show biz, and I love waht you do.
God bless you and Happy New Year!

My Wife and I recently attended Mr. King's concert in Hagerstown, Maryland on December 1st, 2008 at the beautiful Maryland Theater. The words that he provided throughout the performance were full of wisdom, joy, and comedy, even prior to his performance of One Kind Favor, as serious as the songs subject is to all of our common mortality. The emotion he brought to this song live was from a place of understanding and long endured wisdom. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed his performance and recommend that everyone should go be a part of BB King and the music.

<em>Wanted to let you know, we enjoyed your concert in Atlanta, Georgia Monday night, November 24, 2008. BB just to let you know, I got my supper that night!

I spent many years on the radio and then sixteen and a half years with capitol records.in 1966 i moved to ft. worth from st. louis where i was on wil and then went back to kfjz and the apartments where i lived were owned by t bone burnett's mother and that is when we became friends.i was so pleased that he produced this cd for bb.it has to be one of his best all time albums.i met bb a couple of times.the last time i went into his room at red rocks in denver with my friend dr buzz. and we talked and had a picture made.please have t bone get in touch with me,my number is 6787766273.waiting for your call is one of my favorites on the new project.but the whole thing is great.i crank it up and play my drums and wish i had been the drummer on the session.i have been a fan since the fifties and sixties and bb use to come to tyler, texas where i grew up and my friend ray ross use to book him when you could get in the show for a couple of bucks.we all love you much b..thanks for all the wonderful music over the many years and look forward to much more.randy robins

Can you come back to Brazil? I miss you. Take care.
Love.

Mr. King, I drove down from Orangeville, Ontario to see your new museum and it was the highlight of my trip which included Memphis and Beale Street. A friend of mine, Heather Katz, who sang with you at the opening, told me I shouldn't miss it and she was not wrong. You've led an adventurous, improbable, inspiring life and I plan to come down there and explore some more of your Mississippi Delta in the near future.
Regards, Garth Stiebel
Not many people my age know you're music, but I share it with everyone I know, and I won't stop. Amazing music, I love it that you've been going so many years, only the best could last as long as you have. Your grave will be kept clean.
I just wanted to say that I`ve been in love with your music for years now and still can hear my hearts skips the beat while Lucille is playing. Stay blessed and thank you
