Met WillieKing (BBKing's son) and his wife on Amtrak going to Chicago from the west in September. Enjoyed them so much, and wanted to stay in touch--BUT lost the card Willie gave us! Dear BB, Don't know if you'll read this but I live in Las Vegas and have loved you for years. I recently came across somel of your books stamped Riley B King and I literally sat on the floor and cried with joy that I was so blessed to find them (you will most likely know where I purchased them recently ) and I want to thank you so much for giving them to many like myself who could have not afforded them anywhere else. I was stunned for days and am SO GRATEFUL and blessed. I read your wonderful autobiography and knew exactly who Riley was when I saw the name stamjp.. I want to get my own copy of your autobiography signed by you so badly - and want to meet you in person so bady. I am so inspired and moved by you and love you so much. I also was blessed to locate a few years ago that fantastic video of you, Etta James, Bobby Blue Bland Dr John and Stevie Ray Vaughn at a club playing together WOW !!!! It's heaven. My son was so inspired as a little boy by hearing me playing ;your music many many days and nights on LP records as they made my days and nights wonderful and inspired him to play too (bass guitar). I want to meet you so badly in person and give you a big hug - I saw you at the Stardust a few years ago and was too afraid to try and meet you and now that I live here, it seems you no longer play on the Strip. I cannot drive to Primm or Reno - do you ever play in the city of Las Vegas anymore??? I can afford to buy a ticket, but not the trip and housing out of town and have no one to take me to Reno or Laughlin there so are you playing on the Strip sometime soon again? Don't worry , I'm not a "crazed fan" - just a woman who loves you dearly and hopes that you are taking really good care of yourself so that you can continue to play and sing and share your beauty with many many others for a long time and will come to the Strip again. I'll cross my fingers and hope someone responds or that perhaps you'll read this.
